If you are looking for a soda bread that has an extra health kick, this is it! This soda bread is easy to make and includes Milk Kefir which makes it extra delicious and nutritious. It is a quick and easy addition to any lunch or dinner and doesn’t involve the extra work like other breads if you don’t have a lot of time. It is also a great way to use up extra Milk Kefir! This recipe came to us from Donna in our Gut Health Guru’s Facebook Group!
Ingredients:
500g of plain flour (or half plain and half Rye)
1tsp baking soda
1tsp salt
400g milk kefir (you can buy everything you need, here!)
Method:
1. Mix all of the ingredients together until a dough forms
2. Form a mound on a tray lined with baking paper
3. Cut a cross on the top (to let the fairies out)
4. Cook for 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 180C
