Organic turmeric powder gives a warm, spicy flavour and a golden colour to curries. The active ingredient in turmeric is curcumin, a powerful antioxidant renowned for centuries for its health giving properties. In recent times, modern science has caught up and identified turmeric as a powerful anti- inflammatory substance and significantly important for good digestive health.
Turmeric is a popular ingredient in Indian and Asian dishes, and is the perfect ingredient for Golden Milk, Turmeric lattes and Curried eggs. Add a pinch of pepper to significantly boost the bioavailability of curcumin.
This turmeric has a curcumin level of 4.5%-5.5%.
Growing and Processing
The turmeric root plant is simply ground into a powder for consumption.
