What is Vivomixx

Vivomixx is a food supplement containing a combination of 8 different strains of live lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria.

Vivomixx contains one of the most widely studied probiotics with over 60 published human clinical studies and a total of over 180 publications.

It is gluten-free and it does not contain preservatives, colouring agents nor synthetic sweeteners.

The recommended daily dose is 1-2 sachets; dissolve contents of the sachet in water, yogurt or any other cold, non-carbonated drink or food and consume immediately. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Vivomixx® is not a food supplement and should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Warnings

Store between +2-8C in a dry place.
Keep out of reach of young children.
If the unopened product is properly stored (+2-8C), the product is stable until the expiration date printed on the package.The bacteria are alive and lyophilized, they are best kept refrigerated, however you can keep them out of the fridge for up to one week without affecting the quality of the product. Do avoid high temperatures (>25C).

Directions

For adults and teenagers, take 1 to 2 sachets daily.Open the sachet and stir the contents into cold water or any cold non-fizzy drink or food and consume immediately.Do not take with hot foods or beverages.
Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose.Pregnancy: There are no contraindications but please do consult your physician when taking this or any other food supplement during pregnancy.

Too early to tell but it tastes good

I have only been taking the Vivomixx probiotics for about a month, and I’m told it could take 3 months to notice a difference. At first I had a bit of bloating and grumbling, but it settled down within a week. I like the taste of this powder and it’s easy to blend into smoothies or yoghurt. Hard to get a hold of, but Nourish Me had it in stock and sent it immediately.
