Stoneware is the perfect medium for fermenting vegetables. Our fermentation crock is individually handmade on the potter's wheel from stoneware clay. These beautiful jars have a 2.5L Litre capacity, designed to ferment approximately 2 to 3 kg of vegetables like cabbage sauerkraut.
Our fermentation crock comes complete with a red gum pounder and ceramic fermentation weights.
