Creamy Yoghurt

Making yoghurt at home is a great alternative to the store bought version. This yoghurt is much creamier and it’s simple since all you need is a yoghurt maker! You can enjoy this with any type of fruit mixed in, in a smoothie, or in a dressing. This recipe came to us from Nicky in the Gut Health Guru’s Facebook Group

Ingredients: 

- 1 liter of milk

- 1/3 cup of milk powder

- 1 yoghurt sachet or probiotic capsule 

- 1/4 cup of honey 

- 1tsp of vanilla paste or pod

Method:

  1. Mix everything together with a whisk and pour into your yoghurt maker. Select 38⁰ for 12hrs. There is no manual heating at all!
  2. Place the jar in the fridge for 6 hours and enjoy!
