Sourdough Pancakes

If you are looking for a simple breakfast that has the added benefits of sourdough, this is it! It is a healthier version of a pancake and can be made with your sourdough discard. This recipe came to us from Emma in the Gut Health Guru’s Facebook Group!

 

Ingredients: 

 

- 1 cup sourdough discard (you can use this kit for your sourdough!)

- 1 egg

- 1 pinch of bicarb soda

- A splash of milk

- 1 tbsp of sugar

 

Method:

 

  1. Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl. If you add too much milk, you can add in some flour to make it thicker.
  2. Cook your pancakes and top with your favorite topping like this wonderful Rhubarb Jam
